Are you facing layoff or company reorganization?

Working Out Loud, also referred to as peer support circles, is a fantastic way to reach out to more people and achieve more possibilities. Unlike other social networks, this idea is aimed at creating relationships founded on generosity and common purpose. It is an activity-packed element that allows the discovery of new and immense opportunities.

Narrating Your Work

This action involves the creation of expertise to be shared in an organisation for the benefit of other team members. This approach provides a casual, creative and engaging way of mentoring others.

Elements of the Concept

According to speaker and author, John Stepper, there are five elements of Working Out Loud.

  1. Design a social network – This step allows visibility of an organisation or individual’s work. It refers to a place where people can find your work and engage with you.
  2. Be Generous first – The content posted should, first of all, contribute to your circle rather than promote you. Doing this will encourage increased connection while building a strong rapport.
  3. Establish a Social Network – Develop an authentic relationship. The content written should assist people to gather useful information while growing networks as well as mutually beneficial relations.
  4. Be Purposeful – Maintain the focus on the set goals while assessing the processes of achieving them.
  5. Get Better – Have a mindset for work growth and improvement. Be flexible with new strategies. Be open to feedback. Through their feedback, the readers’ contributions shape the final product.
